Brand guidelines

JustBacked is a job board for startups that raised in the last 180 days. The interface is ink on white so the jobs do the talking. Color appears in two places only: the raise stickers and the raspberry that marks something new.
01 · Logo
The seal and the wordmark
The mark is a raspberry scalloped seal with a white check: verified, just funded. The yellow dot is a sticker slapped on the corner. The wordmark is justbacked, always lowercase, set in Bricolage Grotesque ExtraBold.

Clear space
Keep a margin of at least a quarter of the mark's height on every side. On a 64 px mark that is 16 px. No text, edges or other logos inside it.
Minimum size
Below these sizes the scallops and the dot turn to mush. Use the mark alone when space is tight.

Also: don't capitalize the wordmark, stretch it, swap its typeface or place it on a busy photo without the white tile.

Logo files
The horizontal SVGs set the wordmark as live text in Bricolage Grotesque. If that font isn't installed (or the SVG is used as an image), it falls back to a system sans. For anything that leaves your machine, use the outlined SVGs or the PNG: the letters are paths and need no font.

03 · Color
Mono, then pop
The interface is built from five neutrals. The accents are rationed: raspberry belongs to the mark and to “new”, and lime, yellow and pink exist only on stickers. If a button, heading or chart is colored, something has gone wrong.

Hover and soft chips
Token names are the Tailwind utilities in the codebase (bg-paper, text-sage, bg-amber). Some are legacy names from v1; the hex values are what count.

The raise sticker
Every company carries a sticker with its latest round and how long ago it closed. The color ages with the money, so you can scan a page and see who raised this week. Stickers are DM Mono, rotated -4 degrees, with a hard 2 px shadow. They are the only tilted thing in the product.

Yellow · this month
Closed 8 to 30 days ago. Teams are still opening roles.
Pink · older
Closed 31 to 180 days ago. Still on the board, hiring is steadier.
Lock · members only
A role posted in the last 48 hours. Members see it now, everyone else after two days.

- Use sticker colors for buttons, badges or backgrounds
- Write “Series B funding of fifty million” on a sticker
