Join the power movement as Power Business Research and Analytics Manager
Commonwealth Fusion Systems is moving fusion power out of the laboratory and onto the grid. We are at a critical inflection point, and this is a rare opportunity to join the foundational team that will commercialize the world’s first fusion power plants.
In this role, you will apply rigorous analysis to the commercialization of fusion power within the broader context of the evolving U.S. and global electric power sectors. You will develop specialized subject matter expertise on critical drivers of the urgent transition to fusion energy—including commercial deal structuring, scaling a new technology, and how our fusion technology integrates into future energy markets. Working alongside world-class leaders in the premier private fusion enterprise, you will gain unmatched visibility into the commercial mechanics establishing this new industry.
We are seeking a driven, highly analytical professional who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. Essential qualities include strong initiative, rapid adaptability, and the capacity to convert raw research into actionable insights that drive business outcomes. You will seamlessly bridge high-level corporate strategy and hands-on execution while managing shifting priorities.
This is a career-launching role for a professional willing to dedicate themselves to the urgent transition to fusion energy.
At CFS, we excel in fast-paced environments, driven by our values of integrity, execution, impact, and self-critique. As we grow, we’re eager to bring on mission-driven folks who offer diverse perspectives and fresh ways to tackle challenges. We value diversity deeply and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer by choice. We consider all qualified applicants equally, regardless of race, color, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, protected veteran status, religion, physical or mental disability, marital status, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, or any other basis protected by law. This role requires compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information (collectively, “Export Control Laws"). Any offer of employment will be contingent on the need for compliance with such Export Control Laws.
