Office assistant (Part-time)

At Dawn Aerospace, we're building reusable space transportation systems and satellite propulsion technology that are changing how space is accessed.

As our team continues to grow, we're looking for a practical, organised and proactive Workplace Coordinator to help create a workplace where our people can do their best work.

You'll take ownership of the day-to-day operation of our Delft office, ensuring our facilities, supplies and workplace environment enable our teams to do their best work every day. If you enjoy solving problems, helping people and taking initiative, we'd love to hear from you.

This is a part-time position (20 hours per week). The successful candidate will be based in our Delft office each weekday morning, with typical working hours from 8:30am. Finish times will vary depending on business needs and workload, generally falling between 11:30am and 1:30pm. Due to the nature of the role, this position is fully office-based and remote working is not available.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the day-to-day operation of our Delft workplace, ensuring the office is organised, welcoming and running smoothly. .
• Manage office supplies, deliveries and workplace inventory. .
• Coordinate facilities maintenance and liaise with building management and external service providers. .
• Welcome visitors and create a positive, professional experience for employees, customers and guests. .
• Ensure meeting rooms, kitchens and shared spaces are well maintained, stocked and ready for use. .
• Assist with company events, team activities and other workplace initiatives. .
• Support day-to-day administration, logistics and operational tasks across the business. .
• Continuously improve workplace processes and implement practical solutions that make the office more efficient and enjoyable. .

Qualifications

• Previous experience in office administration, workplace coordination, hospitality, facilities, events or a similar operational support role. .
• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail. .
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the confidence to solve problems and work independently. .
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment. .
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset. .
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn new systems and workplace tools. .
• A valid driver's licence. .
• Fluent English; Dutch language skills are an advantage. .

Note that the role is a permanent position that will start with a fixed-term contract of 12 months.

  We are developing the fastest and highest-flying aircraft ever to take off from a runway, combining the extreme performance of rocket propulsion with the reusability of conventional airplanes to enable high-frequency, low-cost access to sub-orbital space.

Our international teams are distributed across four locations: the Netherlands, France, New Zealand, and the USA.
