Have your AI draft the answers and brief you on Impulse Space→Why join Impulse Space?
Satellites keep getting cheaper so the bottleneck is now moving them between orbits, and Impulse Space, a Redondo Beach aerospace company, is building the vehicles to do it. If its vehicles become the standard way to reposition payloads, customers could book orbital transfers the way they book freight. A $308M Series D from Founders Fund and Lux Capital, with 216 open roles, most in engineering, says the build-out is under way.
JustBacked's take, based on Impulse Space's own site and its funding and hiring data.
As Manager, Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) at Impulse, you will lead the team responsible for designing, building, and deploying electrical ground systems that interface with flight hardware throughout spacecraft integration, test, and launch operations. This team develops reliable, standardized, and modular hardware solutions that enable rapid testing, vehicle integration, and launch execution.
In this role, you will guide the team's technical direction, engineering execution, and professional development while working closely with Avionics, Integration, Test, and Launch Operations teams. You'll own the team's priorities, technical standards, and performance, ensuring EGSE hardware meets the demanding requirements of spacecraft development and operations.
