Why join ThreatLocker?

The bet: default-deny beats detection, so only approved software runs on each endpoint. If ThreatLocker, an Orlando cybersecurity company, gets there, ransomware and token theft could lose many of their entry points, and IT teams everywhere might depend on it. General Atlantic and D. E. Shaw led its $190M Series F, lifting total funding to $489M, and 9 of its 42 open roles were added in 30 days.

COMPANY OVERVIEW

ThreatLocker® is a global cybersecurity leader that stops cyberattacks before they happen. The company’s Zero Trust Platform prevents breaches from both known and unknown threats by allowing only explicitly trusted software and activity across endpoints, networks, and cloud systems. Built to deploy quickly and scale across complex environments, the platform reduces operational overhead while keeping business running uninterrupted. Headquartered in Orlando, Florida, with offices in Dublin, Dubai, and Brisbane, ThreatLocker protects over 70,000 organizations worldwide.

POSITION OVERVIEW

In this role, you will serve as a critical link between Marketing and Sales, engaging prospects who have interacted with ThreatLocker through campaigns, events, webinars, direct mail, and other marketing programs. This role will include limited white-glove strategic outreach to select ThreatLocker prospects.

Your primary responsibility will be to turn interest into action: qualify leads, book product demonstrations, drive event registrations, identify and secure guests for high-value activations (such as Formula 1) and ensure prospects move smoothly through the sales process.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who thrives on building relationships, following up consistently, and delivering measurable results.

The role will be based in Orlando, FL and is an in-office position.

  • Follow up on inbound marketing leads based on agreed-upon criteria with the Sales team, including lead status, engagement level, geographic region, and ownership.
  • Engage prospects through phone calls, emails, and personalized outreach to understand their needs, qualify interest, and identify opportunities.
  • Book qualified product demonstrations and coordinate seamless handoffs to the appropriate Sales representatives.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects who are not yet ready to engage with Sales, nurturing relationships until the next appropriate step.
  • Ensure accurate lead tracking, activity documentation, and status updates in the CRM.

Marketing campaign follow-up

  • Execute targeted outreach following direct mail campaigns to increase engagement, encourage responses, and convert interest into sales conversations.
  • Follow up with prospects who engage with marketing campaigns, webinars, events, and other promotional initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop effective outreach strategies, messaging, and follow-up sequences.
  • Provide feedback on prospect responses, objections, and campaign effectiveness to help improve future marketing initiatives.

Event & webinar registration

  • Identify and engage relevant prospects for regional events, executive gatherings, partner activations, and other targeted experiences.
  • Conduct personalized outreach to high-value prospects to encourage participation in strategic events.
  • Follow up with registered attendees to encourage attendance and maximize engagement.
  • Engage event participants after the event to identify opportunities, schedule demonstrations, and connect them with Sales.

Sales & marketing alignment

  • Work closely with Marketing and Sales to ensure lead follow-up aligns with established responsibilities, regional assignments, and engagement criteria.
  • Coordinate the handoff of qualified opportunities to Sales and help ensure prospects receive timely follow-up.
  • Track the progression of marketing-generated leads into sales meetings and opportunities.
  • Identify gaps in lead follow-up and recommend improvements to increase conversion rates.
  • Share prospect insights with Marketing to improve targeting, messaging, and campaign performance.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales development, lead generation, or a similar customer-facing role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging prospects over the phone.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, handle objections, and convert conversations into meaningful next steps.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple campaigns and follow-up priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience working with CRM and marketing automation platforms; HubSpot experience is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, persistent, and comfortable working toward measurable performance goals.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Marketing, Sales, and Events teams.
  • Interest in cybersecurity, technology, or B2B software is preferred.
