What the agent does, and what you do

  1. 01

    Find

Your agent searches every open role at startups that raised in the last six months, with the filters you would use on the board, and members see roles the day they're posted.

  2. 02

    Research

It pulls each company's round, lead investors, headcount and how fast the team is hiring, so you know which roles are worth your time.

  3. 03

    Prepare

For Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby roles it reads the actual application questions and drafts answers and a cover note from your resume, for you to edit.

  4. 04

    You apply

You open the apply link and submit it yourself. JustBacked never sends an application for you.

  5. 05

    Track

Tell your agent what you applied to and it logs the role, date and notes in your tracker, then updates it as interviews and offers come in.

Questions

Can an AI agent apply to operations jobs for me?
It can do most of the work around the application, not the submission. Connected to JustBacked, your assistant finds operations roles in Los Angeles at startups that just raised, reads each role's application questions (Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby), drafts answers from your resume and logs what you applied to. You review the draft and submit it yourself on the company's own site.
How many operations roles in Los Angeles can it search?
45 open right now across 21 startups that raised venture money in the last six months, with 2 posted in the last 7 days. Members' agents see new roles the day they're posted; the public board shows them two days later.
Which startups are hiring the most operations people in Los Angeles?
Impulse Space (7), Amca (7), Neros Technologies (4). Ask your agent to research any of them: round, investors, headcount and every open role.
Which AI assistants work?
Claude (including Claude Code), ChatGPT in developer mode (chats and dots), Muse, Cursor and any agent that speaks MCP. Scripts can use the REST API.
What does it cost?
Agent access is included in JustBacked membership: $12 a month or $59 a year, up to 1,000 agent requests a day.
