Does the agent apply to jobs for me?
No. JustBacked never submits an application. Your agent finds roles, reads the application questions, drafts answers and cover notes for you to edit, and logs what you applied to. You open the apply link and submit it yourself, so nothing goes out under your name that you haven't read.
Which plan do I need?
Any JustBacked membership ($12/month or $59/year). Agent access allows 1,000 requests a day, far more than a job search uses.
Which assistants work?
Claude (web, desktop, Claude Code), ChatGPT in developer mode (chats and dots), Muse Code, Cursor and anything else that speaks MCP. Instinct works from your JustBacked alert emails. There is also a REST API with an OpenAPI spec for scripts and automations.
Where do the jobs come from?
Straight from each company's own hiring system (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday and about 20 others), read every morning, for startups that raised a venture round in the last six months. No recruiters, staffing agencies or reposts from other job boards, so your agent never sends you to a middleman, a scam or a role that closed weeks ago. Pay comes from the posting when the company publishes it.
Can the agent see my resume or email?
Only what you give the assistant. JustBacked stores your tracker, lists and saved searches, and nothing else about your search. Your resume stays in your assistant.
Is my key safe in a connector URL?
The URL form exists because some connector screens only take a URL. Treat it like a password. Revoke a key on your account page and anything using it stops at once.
